Delegate Registration Instructions

Registering for the 24th World Energy Congress, couldn't be easier! Simply follow the instructions below, but make sure you have the following at hand:

• Photo ID (see specifications below)

• Passport main page copy and number 

Step 1: Create your account.
Simply enter your e-mail address and a password to create your own account, which will allow you to come back and complete your registration at any time.

Step 2: Choose your registration category.

Please note that special categories may require additional information so
please make sure that you choose the correct category.

Step 3: Complete all the fields on the registration form.

Please note that fields marked * are mandatory. You will also be asked to upload relevant documentation, according to your registration category. This is also where you will be required to upload your Photo ID and passport.

Photo ID Specifications

PHOTO SIZE

• Photo must be 45 mm high by 35mm wide

• Photo should not be a cut down version of a larger picture
  
  

PHOTO QUALITY

• Photo should be taken within the last six months

• Photo should be in colour, on plain white or light grey background 

• Photo should be clear and in focus 

• Photo should be unaltered by computer software
   

PHOTO SETTING

• Photo should be a close-up of your full head and upper shoulders

• The subject should be facing forward and looking straight at the camera

• Eyes should be open, not covered by hair and free from reflection or glare from glasses

• Wearing of glasses is acceptable as long as the eyes are shown fully in clear lenses without glare or reflections

• Ears should be shown on the submitted photo for non-Muslim applicants

Step 4: Accompanying Partner.

Choose whether you wish to bring your partner/spouse along with you and they can take part in the Accompanying Persons Programme. This is an exclusive programme for partners or spouses of 24th Congress delegates and includes fun and exciting tours exploring the wonders of the city of Abu Dhabi. Step 5: Choose your accommodation and flights.

The 24th Congress, in conjunction with our dedicated Destination Management Company, Hala Abu Dhabi, have arranged exclusive prices for Congress delegates across an array of luxurious hotels ranging from 3 stars through to 5 stars, according to your needs.

In addition, Congress delegates are entitled to an exclusive discount of up to 15% on any Etihad Airways Economy & Business Class flights and up to 30% on Etihad Airways Business Class flights, originating from the USA. These discounts are only applicable on direct flights on the Etihad Airways network and does not include internal flights.

If you do not wish to book your flights or accommodation at this stage, you can move on and always come back at a later stage! Just do not leave it too late, or your choice of accommodation or flight may not be available!

Step 6: Payment.

You can either pay by credit card through our secure online servers or via bank transfer. Please note that we accept the following credit cards:

• Visa
• MasterCard
• AMEX

If you wish to pay by bank transfer, our account details will be on the invoice. Please note that this option will not be available for any registrations made on or after 1st August 2019.

Step 7: Confirmation.

You will be able to see a summary and breakdown of your overall registration and booking, your unique registration number (URN) which must be kept safe for any future enquiries, plus a total price. This confirmation will also be emailed to your registered email address.

Once registered and upon receipt of your URN, you will be able to return to your registration booking at any time and amend your details. Please see terms and conditions for any substitutions or cancellations.
