Developing Countries Programme

The World Energy Council is a global and inclusive organisation and participation from across the world at the Congress is integral to the success of the event, to ensure the contribution of diverse experiences and perspectives on the energy system. The Developing Countries Programme enables and supports the participation of delegates from developing countries.

The 24th World Energy Congress recognises the importance of participation from developing countries and has put together an exclusive package to support the participation of delegates from selected developing countries. If your country is included in the list overleaf, you will be entitled to:

•  A free delegate pass – worth up to US$2,750*

•  Free accommodation in a 4* hotel for up to 5 nights**

•  15% discount on Etihad flights (value dependant on route)

This offer is limited to 3 delegates per country and the Organising Committee will work with members to identify who are the most appropriate delegates from each country. Once confirmed they will be given the deadlines in which to register.

* Value based on full delegate rate with no early booking discount.
* Accommodation can be revised according to the level of dignitary. Please call +971 800-WEC for any questions.
