"Clir is developing software that maximizes the performance,
profitability, and life-span of wind turbines. We combine machine-learning
algorithms that pinpoint underperformance with data
visualization tools so that wind-farmers are provided clear actionable
recommendations to improve energy production. Our automated
platform enables wind-farm operators to distinguish issues in
resource availability (e.g., fluctuations in wind) from addressable
performance-issues (e.g., hardware settings, nearby forestry wake
impediment, etc). Clir software integrates seamlessly with the various
data-streams accessible to wind-farm owners, including field
maintenance events, production data, forecasted meteorological
patterns, and utility meter readings.

"CMBlu is a pioneer and market leader for Organic Flow Batteries making grid-scale renewable energy storage a reality. A successful energy transition with renewables and e-mobility requires storage capacity in the terrawatt-hour range. The metal-based materials typically used for energy storage are not available in sufficient quantities, very expensive or ecologically questionable.
We have established a groundbreaking energy storage technology based on renewable raw materials and developed it to commercial scale. We use lignin, a natural and renewable source, as starting material for the manufacture of electrolytes for our Organic Flow Batteries.
Over 50 million tons of lignin are produced in the pulp and paper industry every year, but 98% of it is incinerated because there is no profitable utilization. The system does not use rare earths or substances from unreliable sources and the complete value chain can be realized locally.

Our innovation, ColdHubs, is a “plug and play” modular, solar-powered walk-in cold room, for 24/7 off-grid storage and preservation of perishable foods. It adequately addresses the problem of post- harvest losses in fruits, vegetables and other perishable food. ColdHubs, is installed in major food production and consumption centers (in markets and farms), farmers place their produce in clean plastic crates, these plastic crates are stacked inside the cold room. This extends the freshness of fruits, vegetables and other perishable food from 2 days to about 21 days. The solar powered walk-in cold room is made of 120mm insulating cold room panels to retain cold. Energy from solar panels mounted on the roof-top of the cold room are stored in high capacity batteries, these batteries feeds an inverter which in turn feeds the refrigerating unit.

These were marked for phase-out from 2019 by 170 countries in the 2016 Kigali agreement and now the >$167 billion cold chain market will have to turn towards more sustainable alternatives. We have created a cloud-based platform for existing building technologies like the room booking system and heating control to synchronise and communicate so we can provide heating for occupied areas only.
